Online Individual Therapy in Ontario
Come as you really are
Feelings are hard to name, and can be with you for so long they’ve started to feel like part of who you are.
I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) offering virtual individual and couples therapy across Ontario. In a warm, non-judgmental space, we’ll get curious about what you’re carrying and where it might come from, at a pace that feels right for you.
What brings people to therapy
People come to me with
Anxiety
Depression
OCD
Burnout
Perfectionism
Grief
Identity shifts
Life transitions
Complex family dynamics
Relationship challenges
Some come to make sense of what it was like to grow up with ADHD, and the feelings that came with it.
Others aren’t sure what to call it yet, and that’s okay too.
A thread that runs through much of my work is connecting what you’re experiencing to your history. Rather than treating anxiety, OCD, or overthinking as something wrong with you, we’ll gently explore how they may link to parts of your past.
People of all backgrounds and identities are welcome here, and my work is anti-oppressive.
Psychodynamic Therapy that meets you where you are
My approach is rooted in Psychodynamic Therapy, with elements of Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), parts work, and gentle somatic work. I care less about following a set formula than about finding what works for you. In practice, this looks like:
Noticing patterns. We’ll pay attention to how you think, feel, and relate to others.
Leading with emotion. I stay grounded, calm, and attuned, even when your feelings are big. There’s room for all of it, and you’ll be heard without judgment.
Going deeper when it feels safe. When you’re ready, we can approach what you feel resistant to. That’s often where the deepest work lives.
Revisiting material. Coming back to the same material more than once is a natural part of understanding.
Making room for all your parts. I lightly bring in parts work, making space for the different parts of you, both young and old.
What to expect
A no-fee 30-minute consultation. A chance to meet, ask questions, and share what brings you to therapy. If the fit doesn’t feel right, I’m happy to help you find a therapist who may be.
Building trust while starting right away. The first few sessions are about building trust, and we’ll begin the work from the start.
A steady rhythm. I find a solid foundation tends to build with weekly or bi-weekly sessions, though it’s always case by case. I work long-term, and we’ll check in regularly on how things are going.
*Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, and we’ll find a flow that works for you.
Fees
Virtual individual therapy is $120 per 50-minute session. Scaled pricing is available, so please ask about it during the consultation if you are curious about how it works. If you have insurance, please confirm with your provider whether Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) is covered under your plan.
Nervous about starting?
That’s fair, and we can work with that. Therapy is for anyone in any phase of life, and I’ll meet you where you are.
